tenuis Poverty Rush. A salt and wet soil tolerant species that will naturalize. Insignificant, tiny flowers are clustered at or near the stem tips. May be grown in clumps at edge of a pond or stream, raingardens, among stones or pebbles, or generally as a novelty. Can also be used as a native ground-cover and to help control erosion. Best in sun/ pt. shade in moist soil. Ht. up to 2 feet. Z2-9.
