Alumroot. Native to the Chesapeake Bay Watershed, found in rich woods, rocky slopes. Leaves are slightly ruffled, green with silver between the veins, becoming reddish with cold weather. Pinkish-green flower spikes in May. Pt.shade/ shade. Ht: 12 inch., 24-30inch with flower. Z4-9.
