Fluffy flower heads, darker purple than T.aquilegiifolium and with dark, near black stems.Despite its height it seems to stand up well to wind and weather, holding its shape well into autumn. Summer blooming, best in pt.shade. Ht. with flower 4-5feet. Z5-9.
